Who would ever think a Hasidic Jewish Reggae Rapper would be the highlight of my year? Well, believe it or not, this Matisyahu character is amazing! If you have not picked up his CDs, Youth and Live at Stubb's, you are missing out...This being my sister's second concert, I think this topped her list by far. She actually introduced me to his music, but didn't listen to it as much. Then, I just downloaded a bunch of it off of this Russian website and really got into it.
Note: JB and I raced back to Dallas from Padre to make the concert and did so with a half hour remaining. Hats off to an excellent driving job by JB (I got a ticket from a freakin' park ranger!!). Our trip was an overwhelming success..long nites, lots of partying, lots of R&R, plenty of sun and beach, but most importantly good times and good friends! Sadly, we only had a funsaver b/c my digital was broken from Florida, so we'll just remember this one in our heads. Cheers.
